Babysitting rates

Posted by: Caz, 26-Sep 11:05
my 17 year old daughter wants to earn extra cash as a babysitter. She is a qualified first aider and very responsible and would be able to provide her own transport. What is a reasonable hourly rate and should she get more for more than one child?

We normally pay about £25 for the evening and we have 4 kids. we always make sure we're back before midnight and we provide snacks and drinks. Our babysitter is 18 and she says this is a fair trade!
